Sorry guys I missed the meeting so there are no pictures. But we do have the meeting report. Thanks Jim. Reports: • The secretary, Jim Brown, reported that we currently have 68 members who have paid dues in 2009 and 2010. A new member joined in December. His name is Bruce Cox and is a Novice woodturner. Take a moment in January to welcome Bruce to the club. Thanks for joining Bruce!!!! Club dues are due by the end of the year. A total of 12 members paid their dues for 2010. Thank you very much!! Additionally, this is also the time to renew your AAW membership. AAW membership is $48 this year but along with this increase is the addition of two more issues of American Woodturner. Thirty-one members attended the December meeting. All of us enjoyed the excellent information presented by our guest, Duane Siever of The Real Milk Paint Company, on what is milk paint and how to use and apply the milk paint to our turnings. Duane held a small raffle where 15 lucky winners received a sample of milk paint to try in the months to come. Our raffle in December contained 15 items from wood to center finders. Show and Tell consisted of five different members presenting 8 unique items. Turnings from Christmas ornaments to hollow vessels were presented. Thanks everyone for your hard work and outstanding turning capabilities. In December we had our annual gift exchange with 19 members presenting their gifts to one another. Announcements:  • The next president’s challenge is to turn something that starts with the letter “T.” Some suggestions are tops, treen, toys, tiny, tallest, thin, threaded… Use you imagination and have fun!
