Bill Grumbine Demo
 

 

Bill Grumbine with black walnut blank mounted between centers.

Shaping outside at highest speed possible without excessive vibration.

 

Outside form completed and tenon shape refined.

Blank reversed and mounted in chuck.  Initial removal of waste from bowl interior.

 

Inside contour being completed and wall thickness reduced to aprox. 1/4 inch.

Let’em rip Bill.

Bowl reversed and jam chucked to remove tenon. 

Tenon removed and shaping of base completed.

Completed bowl ready for drying, sanding and final finishing.

Thanks for the demo and making me laugh.
